Bump it!

So last night I decided to finally give in and take a picture of my little bump. It was seeming a little large and in charge. I still havent felt the baby kick but at night when I am laying there me and Tyler can feel where she's at. She is a little wanderer. I love to picture her just rollypollying around. Sometimes she'll be on the right side and we will start feeling her and then she will move to the left side. It is wierd how much we already love her!

Thanksgiving!

I am so glad the holidays are here! We got to take a break from work and go to Rexburg for Thanksgiving to see my family. We are so blessed and have so much to be thankful for! We crammed the weekend with lots of fun stuff. We went shopping on Black Friday, had lots of food and treats, and went to a movie, had family pictures, and played games. My mom had decorated for Christmas already and her house looked so cute. I love going home!

Abby also got a new dog, Bentley. Yes, they are once again attempting to have a dog. Although we have been called the "Pet Cemetary" for years now, this dog does live inside (which is a first!) and I think will live a little longer than the pets in the past. And he is SOOO cute. And thats coming from me who is not a huge animal lover. As much as animal droppings and hair gross me out, I love seeing Tylers face when he sees a dog. In a way its like he sees me but in dog form. He loves them so much that I may have to give in..

It was quite an ordeal but Tyler and Shawn did finally get up the icicle lights! It only took almost all day and night on Saturday night but they sure did a good job. They also got brownie points for standing in line at WalMart at 4 am for us in Rexburg while we hit the shops in Idaho Falls. They got everything on their list! I have the best husband. It is so nice having Shawn around so Tyler doesnt go girl crazy.

Friday night we went out to Olive Garden and the movie The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock. It was a good movie for anyone who hasnt seen it!
We also got some cute family pics that I will have to post when we get them.
I think my sisters were a little dispointed in my little belly but they are so excited and will be the best aunts. Abby had been texting me for days.. I cant wait to see your belly! Unfortunately it wasnt too big yet but it seems to be growing about an inch every day now it feels like. People are actually starting to notice it poking out so im hoping to be getting out of the awkward just looking like a chubby belly stage. I cant believe tomorrow I will be on week 20! It is going by pretty fast. I cant believe I'm half way there. The other day Susan (Tylers Mom) actually sent us our first little girl outfit!! It was so wierd it just hit us, wow we are actually having a little girl. It is the cutest tiniest outfit. Thanks Susan!

I need to jump back a few weeks and put a few pics from our trip to Colorado. Eric and Hannah were in the Wizard of Oz play so we drove down to see it. It was so good! I was impressed with how good they both were. Eric was the cowardly lion and Hannah was a singing tree and a munchkin.

We are so glad we have such good families and friends to hang out with! I am also sooo grateful for my cute husband. We really are best friends and everyday I love him more and more.

We are going to be packing up this weekend and the plan is to be moving on Tuesday! I am so excited and will post some pictures once we get settled in. Hopefully we will be able to get internet soon!

Mav's a GIRL!

After weeks and weeks of thinking we were going to have a little Mav boy we found out we are having a GIRL! When we found out I was way surprised but REALLY excited! Actually when we first got to our appointment that we were looking so forward to, our doctor rushed in and said he got called on a delivery and had to run so we would have to reschedule for two weeks! I dont think he realized how much I had set my mind on knowing right then what it was. We sadly walked out to the parking lot where I of course started the water works (I blame it on the pregancy!) Tyler was trying to tell me it was okay and calm me down when the Doctors assistant ran out and told us they could actually do it after all because the baby was already delivered. I was pretty embarassed he had seen how big of a baby I am but at least we got to find out! Tyler seemed really shocked and a little sad about having to rename our baby from Mav but he has gotten used to it now and cant wait to have a little girl! Now we can start buying her clothes and thinking of names and decorating a nursery. We are so blessed and cant wait to meet her!

HallowsEve and fall stuff!

Friday night we had a Halloween party combined with my sister and her husband at their apartment. We decked it out with lights and tons of food! We had some really fun people there with great costumes!

All the girls when we were playing girls vs boys pictionary. We had a gothic ballerina, Hermione, a fairy, a ninja turtle, nurse, minnie mouse, and a garbage bag!

By the end of the night I was pretty sick from all the junk we ate. Ashley made some cute white chocolate covered strawberry ghosts and Ali made the really cute bug eyed spider cupcakes. We also had some delicious chili cheese dip and pizza and wings... too much food!

Tyler looked so trashy, I loved it! We went to Olive Garden on Halloween night dressed up like this thinking we'd see a bunch of people dressed up.... it was pretty much just us and 2 little kids.

My dark side...

This is the pumpkin I carved with some of our favorite friends Mark and Moody. They made us dinner and had us over to their new apartment to carve pumpkins. The finished products were pretty good. Of course I chose the easy level 1 pumpkin and somehow Tyler ended up with the level 5 (the hardest one) It took him forever but I was immpressed how good it turned out!

Tylers mom Susan came to stay with us and help us look for a house two weeks ago. Every night pretty much after work we would go looking for houses. I really appreciated all her help and advice! We did get to do a few fun things while she was here though. We went to Gardner Village with Tylers step brother Glen and Kendi and their kids. We had to find like 20 witches all over the place. This is us with the lonely witch on a bench.

And the purple witch.

Well we are sad Halloween is over. Its Tylers favorite holiday so we pretty much try to do as much as we can for it! But on the upside we find out if we are having a boy or girl in a 10 DAYS so I will keep this updated! We are SOOO excited to find out! What's all your guesses?

A Pea in the Pod

After almost being married three years Tyler and I finally have a little pea in the pod, a bun in the oven, or in other words I'm pregnant! We are sooo excited. Our little IT is going to be born at the end of April. I am a week away from being down with my first trimester already! It has gone by pretty fast. I actually have been really lucky not to get morning sickness or alot of the other symptoms that come along with being pregnant. Sometimes I feel like more should be wrong with me after hearing lots of horror stories so I am going to keep my fingers crossed that everything continues to go good! We don't know what the sex is still but I think we will find out in about 5 weeks so I will have to keep my blog updated alot better than I have been lately! I dont know why it has been so hard for me to keep things updated on here the past little while.
In other news we just found a house we really like and just went under contract with, and I think we are going to get if everything goes smoothly! It is in Riverton, (utah) and we really like it! When I think of everything going on over the next little while I get a little overwhelmed thinking about working, the baby, and the house but we feel like we have been really blessed lately and more than anything are excited about starting a little family. For now, Tyler has nicknamed the baby "Mav" from the name Maverick and I think he is secretly hoping the name will grow on me by the time it comes out but I dont see that happening anytime soon. It is going to be so different having a little baby around and not just having it be me and my best buddy! Tyler is going to be the cutest little dad and is already claiming Mav tells him things that I can't hear. All I know is the little guy looks like a little peanut and loves some fast food!
Well, thanks everyone that has commented on my stuff even though I never really make comments on alot of other blogs. I promise I will turn over a new leaf in the blogger world if it kills me!

Ashleys Wedding!!

It was my cute little sister Ashley's wedding on Friday. Up until we walked into the temple everything was super hectic and stressful and then everything ended up perfect. Between Shawn and Ashley locking their keys in their car on the morning of the wedding, and Ashley forgetting to buy a wedding ring for Shawn, the day was anything but boring!! We were also worried that it was going to rain, but the weather ended up great for pictures because it wasnt too sunny and it didn't rain at all! She looked soooo pretty.

They got married in the Salt Lake temple and then the dinner/ reception was at the Lion House right on temple square. Her colors were light blue and red and they turned out really cute! I loved her colors.

Me and Tyler on our way over to the lion house. He ended up being one of Shawn's groomsmen. They have become such good friends and have really similar personalities, so it will be so fun living by them (they moved in just a couple miles away from us) and being close with them. Tyler is also glad to finally have another guy in the family. We really love Shawn! He is so good for Ash.

All the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Me and my sisters and my aunt Lori and AShleys friend Callie were the bridesmaids, and then Shawn's brother, two brother in laws, and Tyler were the groomsmen. Shawns family was really friendly and nice. The two families really hit it off!
The whole gang!

Me and my sisters Emily and Abby, and my Aunt Lori who is pretty much like our fourth sister

She had one of the best photographers do her pictures. They turned out gorgeous. They are kind of hard to see in these pictures, but I will try to post some later when we have her cd. They tried to do them like Pearl Harbor, and they were at a train station. The one in the gold frame looked just like a model picture!
Overall, the night turned out perfect. I cant believe my little sister is actually married! I am so excited for them though and I'm so glad she is so happy.

One wedding down, one more to go this week!

MExico and My bday!

In July, we got to go to Mexico with my Dad and his wife and her kids, and my sisters. It was so much fun! This summer has been so busy but we are glad we got to go on a relaxing trip and spend time with friends and family!

There was so much stuff to do there! One of my favorite parts was the banana tube pulled behind the boat. I am such a baby on things like this but it ended up being one of my favorite things we did.

Me and AShla

Tyler was the only one that could talk Spanish to these little Mexican kids selling things. This cute little girl and her brother and sisters kept coming by us so we gave them so money. They loved that Tyler could talk to them! Later on we saw them again buying dinner with the money we gave them. Its sad to see how poor people are there!

There was also a huge open dirt/sand area for fourwheeling. The only problem was it was 100 degrees and we were all wearing helmets. We put a cooler of drinks and the car right in the middle so we had to keep making pit stops to cool off. The guys found a place with a bunch of jumps and stayed at pretty much for two straight hours. Tyler was lovin it!

I love the beach so much! Some reason this trip though alot of us got stung by jelly fish, including me! It didnt hurt as bad as I had thought it would but it scared me to death. My step sister Courtney got stung really bad though and the stinger was stuck in her finger. We almost had to take her to the hospital in Mexico but then they scrubbed it out.

Here is us with the newest member of the fam. Shawn! We love him. Tyler, Tony, Shawn and my dad had fun golfing at our resort. The golf course was right outside our back door.

Here we are just playin at the pool. There were a couple pools at our resort and not enough people to fill them. We pretty much always had the pool to ourselves.

Right before the trip was my birthday! I am now 23. When I got home from work (yes I had to work :( ) Tyler had decorated our whole apartment including the door going in. Then we went to my favorite restaurant the cheesecake factory!! I really dont think we have ever eaten so much. We were really sick afterwards. We could barely walk out to our car. Since eating is one of my favorite things to do it turned out to be a really good birthday!

Engaged!

This summer we have TWO big weddings coming up, and only one week apart. I am so so excited because my cute little sis Ashley is engaged. We are really close and I am so excited for her I am going a little over the top with wedding plans! Shawn, who is she is marrying, is from Arizona and his last name is Allen as well... kinda wierd she won't even have to change her last name. (we are pretty sure we are not related...) He is really fun and we love him!

Also getting married is Tyler's little brother Todd. This girl he is marrying is named Kimiko and they met running track together at Utah State. They are really cute together and we are really excited for them as well!

Oh, I love weddings.

Memorial Day weekend!

I am SO happy that summer is finally here. I think I love summer more than anyone. Its really not quite the same when working full time, but I still love it! This Memorial Day weekend was so nice. Tyler had it in his mind that he really wanted to go camping but we were kind of worried it would rain on us or it would be too packed everywhere we went. So we went to Cherry Hill, which is an older water park/campground.

It was pretty nice on Saturday, but did end up raining on us a little bit when we were camping out. We were worried cause our tent was really cheap and we thought it would leak but it didnt. We watched a half of a movie (til the laptop died), played cards, and went out for ice cream. I dont know if that is even considered camping but it was fun!

Tyler is obsessed with barbecuing. He wanted to BBQ on Friday night when we bought the grill, Saturday night, and Monday night! Luckily we only had it twice but it was delicious. This is totally him in his element.. I love this pic of him!

On Monday we went up to Spanish Fork lake with my Dad and step family. It was actually really hot and nice to lay out on our tubes. We ended up drifting clear out and luckily we had Garrett there to paddle us across the whole thing. I dont think more than five drops of water splashed on me the whole time, which was exactly how i wanted it.

Afterwards, another BBQ... we were all pretty fried! Yay for skin cancer.

On a side note, Nikki my step sister, does hair and nails. She did my cute glitter gel toes and they are super cute!! My foot looks a little disfigured in this picture but they are a knockout! Oh how i love them.

Last but not least, I had to put this picture up. Tyler makes everything a competition (yes usually with himself) but he wanted to see if he could jump from the swing over the chips to the grass. It was pretty far and I didnt think he could do it until he was swinging so high the swingset almost popped out of the ground and then he flew and almost hit his face on the cement. He did make it though, and this is him mid air. Hes even got the form down!

Mothers Day weekend

This Mothers Day weekend we got to go home to Rexburg. We hadn't visited since Christmas so it was really fun to get away and see everyone again. I love when all my sisters are together, its like a constant girls weekend plus Tyler who is my favorite person in the world. It doesnt get any better than that!!

On Saturday me and Ashley went with my mom and her sisters and my grandma to the Home Show in IDaho Falls. It is their tradition to all go to that and go to lunch on Mothers day and I'm happy I can finally join them! While we were gone Abby and Tyler went our for Pizza and went to the arcades for a few hours. I think Tyler gets as into it as Abby because he kept puting in quarters until they had landed on the "jackpot" four times and ended up with hundreds of tickets. Abby was in heaven!

When I got home we played tag outside for a while. All we had to work with was a razor, a pair of rollerblades, a rip stick, and Abby's wheelie shoes. I think it was the highlight of our trip though. Emily was a little monster on the razor!

Saturday night was Emily's prom. Emily looked SO pretty (even prettier than the picture.) We all got to rush around helping her get ready and making her date feel awkward with us taking a bunch of pictures.

On Saturday morning we woke up and went to Abby's last volleyball tournament. She is the littlest one on her team, but she is actually pretty good! I was surprised she could serve overhand over the net which is way better than me by now. She is so cute and fun I wish we could see her so much more. (Nice touch to the picture with the Mens bathroom sign...)

Since it was Mothers Day I think I should say that I really do have the best Mom in the world! She works so hard, some days I have no idea how she does it. She really has been such a good example to me of being a good mom. She would sacrifice anything for us kids. Love ya mom!

On our way home on Sunday we went to see Tylers grandma Griff who was feeling really sick. When we got there we were really sad and surprised to see that she was really not doing too well. A couple hours after we got there, Grandma Griff passed away. She was laying in her bed in her house, with most of her kids and grandkids there. We know she is happy to be with her husband now. She was the cutest little lady and lived a wonderful life!
