the Ebay Experience

Ali tagged me to do this photo thing. Here is how you do it.

The rules are:
1. Go to your pictures
2. Upload 4th picture of 4th folder
3. post and explain the picture

I was nervous to see what picture ended up being the 4th one in the 4th folder and when I saw it I just started laughing. This folder of pictures was actually called "ebay"

This little set here of Italian man dishes were a gift from our wedding. Not that we didnt love the set but we realized a year and a half after we had been married that the box hadn't been open and was taking up too much storage space. At the time I didnt have a job and so I decided to help Tyler our with the income a little and start selling things on ebay. I had never done it before but its harder than it looks. I put some of my school books on there for about 40 bucks and this set of dishes for 30 and a few other things. I checked all the time but never got one bid on anything. I took tons of pictures and posted everything but no one ever bid because I guess you have to sell everything for like 2 dollars! When Tyler told me that I decided it wasnt worth it and havent been a fan ever since.

I guess the moral of the story is that we still have this wonderful set of dishes. If anyone wants to buy them I could cut you a pretty good deal!

A sad goodbye...

After many years of living in the country of Burton Idaho my mom decided to sell our house and move into a smaller house closer to her work and town. I remember when we moved to Idaho and built that house and how excited we all were to finally move in. I have to admit I was pretty sad when we had to leave knowing it was my last time there!

Me and Tyler went down to help move and clean things out this weekend. I hadn't even seen the new house they are moving into. Its alot smaller, but it is just Abby and Emily left at home and it is a perfect size for them. I am excited to see what it looks like all finished because they are getting all new carpet and paint so it will be really cute.

While we were there we also got to go to one of Emily's basketball games. She starts on Varsity and she is really good! who knew someone so athletic could come from our family? It was really fun to go see her play and we wish we lived closer so we could go to more of them.

If anyone up in the Rexburg area feels like helping on Saturday I'm sure they would love some help! :)

Nerd Alert

This Halloween me and Tyler hosted our first party together. I was a little nervous about doing it but it ended up being so much fun! We really looked like the biggest nerds ever!

Tyler really pulled off the classic nerd look. I kept looking at him all night and laughing because he looked so funny!

This picture doesn't really do the decorations justice but I was real proud of how the dry ice did its job. I never knew how cool dry ice was! I made those Halloween cupcakes and the gummy worm dirt treat and then Tyler wanted to get wings so we had a big platter of wings. Then we had everyone bring some kind of a game and a treat. There was tons of food!

Our group had some funny costumes! We had Adam and Eve, pirates, hot dog on a stick workers, a thug with a white trash cowboy, amd a pair of babies.

Chase ended up bringing two costumes and was weed man for the second half of the night. He looked so funny in his green tights!

We ended up playing games all night long. Some of the games I had never played before and turned out to be the best ones. Ashley and Shawn and Nikki and Tony ended up staying the night and we watched The Grudge. I would have to say it was one of our most fun Halloweens and hopefully we will do it again. Thanks for everyone who came!
Tyler had no clue I was taking this. He just looks so nerdy!
