Sophie turned two weeks old yesterday and to me she is already looking bigger than when she was born. She has been so much fun and I think she is a pretty good baby. I take at least two or three pictures a day because she does the cutest and funniest things. She had her two week checkup yesterday and she had gained a 1/2 pound. That doesnt seem like much but when your only 6 1/2 lbs to begin with then its alot!
She hates taking baths or being naked. We got her newborn pictures done and she threw the biggest fit when we undressed her and went to the bathroom all over the photographers props and blankets. It was a little embarassing!! The photographer kept waiting for her to give up and fall asleep but she wouldnt do it. It took about three hours and she was pretty much awake the whole time! By the end of the day we were all exhausted, and as soon as we got to the car she fell right to sleep.
She loves to have her hands right by her face always. We always have mittens on her hands because she would claw herself but they are always up. Sometimes she seems annoyed when we are trying to wake her up and she puts them over her eyes to cover them up. We always have to pry her hands down for pictures or they would all be of two little mittens.
She loves Tyler. After I feed her in the early mornings I bring her in to daddy and he puts her to sleep for the last time. She sleeps in her crib all the other times at night but in the mornings she will sleep in our bed. She usually curls right up to him and they fall asleep together. It is so cute I love seeing them together. His back has been hurting him lately because sometimes when he falls asleep with her in a wierd position he doesnt want to move or smash her!
My sister in law let me borrow this little bunny outfit and I didnt really think I would use it since its May, but we have put it to good use already. Sometimes when we go out and its windy I put Sophie in it and its so cozy and she looks so cute!
One of my favorite things is when she is full and happy and half asleep. She is so tiny she is just sitting on my lap right here and her little legs are just curled up.

Thank you so much for the update. Sophie is so adorable. She makes me cry with happiness just looking at her pictures. She is such a great mixture of both you and Tyler. I'm actually seeing a lot of him in her now. You look fabulous! Can't wait to see her again!!!
She is so cute--She is definately filling out in her face. Its adorable! I feel the same way (taking pictures everyday) cause they change EVERYDAY. Oh I love it. So cute. I want to see her newborn pictures once you get them. :)
She is so cute Jaim! And she looks just like you and tyler (since you have the same look hahah!) But some look JUST like you. Its so funny to me how genes are so real and kids honestly look like their parents. Its so cute! I cant wait to meet her. When are you ever coming home? ha

Sophie is so gorgeous. I love the shape of her head. That sounds weird but she has a perfectly round head. Some babies look alien like because of the odd shaped head but she is just a little doll. Enjoy just holding her and starting at her because seriously she is going to grow up too fast. And the first one is so peaceful because all your attention is on them. I want to meet her so much. You look so good. Seriously new moms and their babies glow. Tyler is so cute with her. You can tell he is in love with being her dad. Keep posting lots!
