the Ebay Experience

Ali tagged me to do this photo thing. Here is how you do it.

The rules are:
1. Go to your pictures
2. Upload 4th picture of 4th folder
3. post and explain the picture

I was nervous to see what picture ended up being the 4th one in the 4th folder and when I saw it I just started laughing. This folder of pictures was actually called "ebay"

This little set here of Italian man dishes were a gift from our wedding. Not that we didnt love the set but we realized a year and a half after we had been married that the box hadn't been open and was taking up too much storage space. At the time I didnt have a job and so I decided to help Tyler our with the income a little and start selling things on ebay. I had never done it before but its harder than it looks. I put some of my school books on there for about 40 bucks and this set of dishes for 30 and a few other things. I checked all the time but never got one bid on anything. I took tons of pictures and posted everything but no one ever bid because I guess you have to sell everything for like 2 dollars! When Tyler told me that I decided it wasnt worth it and havent been a fan ever since.

I guess the moral of the story is that we still have this wonderful set of dishes. If anyone wants to buy them I could cut you a pretty good deal!

A sad goodbye...

After many years of living in the country of Burton Idaho my mom decided to sell our house and move into a smaller house closer to her work and town. I remember when we moved to Idaho and built that house and how excited we all were to finally move in. I have to admit I was pretty sad when we had to leave knowing it was my last time there!

Me and Tyler went down to help move and clean things out this weekend. I hadn't even seen the new house they are moving into. Its alot smaller, but it is just Abby and Emily left at home and it is a perfect size for them. I am excited to see what it looks like all finished because they are getting all new carpet and paint so it will be really cute.

While we were there we also got to go to one of Emily's basketball games. She starts on Varsity and she is really good! who knew someone so athletic could come from our family? It was really fun to go see her play and we wish we lived closer so we could go to more of them.

If anyone up in the Rexburg area feels like helping on Saturday I'm sure they would love some help! :)

Nerd Alert

This Halloween me and Tyler hosted our first party together. I was a little nervous about doing it but it ended up being so much fun! We really looked like the biggest nerds ever!

Tyler really pulled off the classic nerd look. I kept looking at him all night and laughing because he looked so funny!

This picture doesn't really do the decorations justice but I was real proud of how the dry ice did its job. I never knew how cool dry ice was! I made those Halloween cupcakes and the gummy worm dirt treat and then Tyler wanted to get wings so we had a big platter of wings. Then we had everyone bring some kind of a game and a treat. There was tons of food!

Our group had some funny costumes! We had Adam and Eve, pirates, hot dog on a stick workers, a thug with a white trash cowboy, amd a pair of babies.

Chase ended up bringing two costumes and was weed man for the second half of the night. He looked so funny in his green tights!

We ended up playing games all night long. Some of the games I had never played before and turned out to be the best ones. Ashley and Shawn and Nikki and Tony ended up staying the night and we watched The Grudge. I would have to say it was one of our most fun Halloweens and hopefully we will do it again. Thanks for everyone who came!
Tyler had no clue I was taking this. He just looks so nerdy!

hooray!

For anyone who didnt know Tyler is getting into insurance and there are a few tests he had to pass. These tests are pretty hard and alot of people dont pass them on their first try.. Well after many many hours of studying and test taking Tyler is now finished and is officially selling insurance. We went out to dinner for a little celebration and he sure was relieved! He has been working really hard ever since. Good job little panawan!
Does anyone out there need insurance?? :)

This is a little group of USU official alumni. I think the word is alumni but if not then I probably should not have graduated college. Well a couple weekends ago we met up with some of Tyler and I's friends from Utah STate. I told Tyler he needed to blog about it but I guess hes not too into blogging... Anyway these guys are the first group of guys I met at Utah State and I was good friends with them ever since. Justin and Mark are who introduced me to Tyler so I should be thanking them! I decided not to be in the pic cause these boys are so cute without me in it. Its crazy that its been over four years since I met all of them!

Halloween spirit

Tyler and I both love Halloween so much. We have our house decorated with Halloween stuff and all through October we watch scary movies and get in the Halloween spirit. This weekend we went on a group date with my step sister Nikki and her husband Tony, and my sister Ashley and Sean. We went to Nightmare on Thirteenth and then we came home and watched The RING. It was scary but so much fun! I am the biggest scaredy cat but I love to see boys get scared especially Tyler cause it seems like he barely ever is. We have had so much fun getting to know Nikki and Tony and were so glad to have them live so close!

A night with Abby

My little sister Abby, who is the nicest little girl you will ever meet, came up to stay with my dad last weekend for a few days and we got lucky enough to have her stay with us for a night. It was a night I know we will never forget! Tyler went to priesthood when she got here so me and my sister AShley took Abby to Chuckey Cheese. We were the luckiest people in their because we hit the jackpot three times! It actually got a little embarrassing because me and AShley were also so exited and all the little kids around us were sad we had a million tickets and they didnt.

After we got home and Tyler got back we took her out to the hot tub and played "volleyball" which is pretty much just hitting the ball back and forth with her. Then we said well should we just watch and movie now its kinda late? and she said no and all she wanted to do was PLAY. So we played and played until two thirty in the morning. We played Yaahtzee, Scene it, Guitar Hero, Sardines, Hide and Seek in the dark, and every other game you can think of. Tyler was such a good sport because we were both tired and kind of wanted to relax but he made it so much fun for her. He even offered her his spot in the bed so she could sleep with me!

trip to Logan

A couple weekends ago Tylers mom, Susan, came up and we all went up to Logan and hung out there. I had to steal these pictures off her blog but it was alot of fun and a little bittersweet to be back up there and be graduated and moved away! Its just so weird to drive by our old apt we lived at forever and think of how much fun me and Tyler had there. I will always like Utah State mostly because that is where I met Tyler and we have alot of good memories there.

It was Todd's birthday so we all went over to Ryan and Ali's to have cake. Here is one of the whole gang!

SAturday afternoon we went to the park and played some Ultimate frisbee and I mean Ultimate. I just saw this picture and had to put it on here because I think our faces pretty much say it all. Not that I have ever been to good at frisbee but it was really fun and it was such a nice day it was good to be outside.

That night me and Ali and Susan all went to the relief society broadcast together. It was fun to go as just girls and the boys always have fun together. Its always a good time when their family gets together!
