my new Nephew!

My older brother Josh just had a new little baby boy named Henry. He is SO cute! They live in New York so I havent even seen him yet but I am already in love with him.

This cute little girl is Olivia my niece. She is the funniest little girl and she looks just like my brother! I thought since they are in little christmas outfits I would put these up for the holidays...

Catching up

I have been really busy with work lately and haven't had much time to catch up with our Thanksgiving and the other stuff we've been doing. It seems like time is flying by so fast now that I'm working and I am scared that Christmas will come and go as fast as Thanksgiving. I was so excited to put up our Christmas stuff and I am so excited for christmas!! ( this picture really shows how excited we are... haha)

This past weekend we got to hang out with some of Tylers brothers and their wife/girlfriend. We went to dinner and the lights at temple square and then they spent the night and we watched the Grinch. Of course we missed the real lights at temple square because they turned off right when we got there ( I think that happens to me every year) but we still got to see alot of lights right around there.

We are so lucky to have such fun brothers and sisters so close to our age. We had alot of fun with them!
We also met up with Nikki and Tony and Jenna and Chase and went to the movie FOur Christmases. I really wanted to see it because me and Tyler together also have FOUR families to visit! It is almost impossible to do. It was a pretty funny movie and fun to see them again too.

For Thanksgiving me and Tyler went to Arizona with my dad, his wife, and my step sister. My grandparents and some of my aunts live down there and my grandpa has been a little under the weather. It was really good to see everyone and introduce Tyler to more of my family!
(Me and Katelyn with the camels)

Besides the driving it took to get down there it turned out to be pretty fun. We stayed at a really fun hotel and it was nice enough to lay out and swim in the pool (which was one of my favorite parts!) We also went shopping alot, went to the lighting of the Mesa Arizona temple (with Brooke White), went to visit one of Tylers cousins and his family and Tyler got to go golfing.

This picture was at the Mesa temple with my cousins Douglas and Jared who we hadnt seen forever! Tyler had alot of fun with them golfing. It was so fun to see them and meet their wives.

the Ebay Experience

Ali tagged me to do this photo thing. Here is how you do it.

The rules are:
1. Go to your pictures
2. Upload 4th picture of 4th folder
3. post and explain the picture

I was nervous to see what picture ended up being the 4th one in the 4th folder and when I saw it I just started laughing. This folder of pictures was actually called "ebay"

This little set here of Italian man dishes were a gift from our wedding. Not that we didnt love the set but we realized a year and a half after we had been married that the box hadn't been open and was taking up too much storage space. At the time I didnt have a job and so I decided to help Tyler our with the income a little and start selling things on ebay. I had never done it before but its harder than it looks. I put some of my school books on there for about 40 bucks and this set of dishes for 30 and a few other things. I checked all the time but never got one bid on anything. I took tons of pictures and posted everything but no one ever bid because I guess you have to sell everything for like 2 dollars! When Tyler told me that I decided it wasnt worth it and havent been a fan ever since.

I guess the moral of the story is that we still have this wonderful set of dishes. If anyone wants to buy them I could cut you a pretty good deal!

A sad goodbye...

After many years of living in the country of Burton Idaho my mom decided to sell our house and move into a smaller house closer to her work and town. I remember when we moved to Idaho and built that house and how excited we all were to finally move in. I have to admit I was pretty sad when we had to leave knowing it was my last time there!

Me and Tyler went down to help move and clean things out this weekend. I hadn't even seen the new house they are moving into. Its alot smaller, but it is just Abby and Emily left at home and it is a perfect size for them. I am excited to see what it looks like all finished because they are getting all new carpet and paint so it will be really cute.

While we were there we also got to go to one of Emily's basketball games. She starts on Varsity and she is really good! who knew someone so athletic could come from our family? It was really fun to go see her play and we wish we lived closer so we could go to more of them.

If anyone up in the Rexburg area feels like helping on Saturday I'm sure they would love some help! :)

Nerd Alert

This Halloween me and Tyler hosted our first party together. I was a little nervous about doing it but it ended up being so much fun! We really looked like the biggest nerds ever!

Tyler really pulled off the classic nerd look. I kept looking at him all night and laughing because he looked so funny!

This picture doesn't really do the decorations justice but I was real proud of how the dry ice did its job. I never knew how cool dry ice was! I made those Halloween cupcakes and the gummy worm dirt treat and then Tyler wanted to get wings so we had a big platter of wings. Then we had everyone bring some kind of a game and a treat. There was tons of food!

Our group had some funny costumes! We had Adam and Eve, pirates, hot dog on a stick workers, a thug with a white trash cowboy, amd a pair of babies.

Chase ended up bringing two costumes and was weed man for the second half of the night. He looked so funny in his green tights!

We ended up playing games all night long. Some of the games I had never played before and turned out to be the best ones. Ashley and Shawn and Nikki and Tony ended up staying the night and we watched The Grudge. I would have to say it was one of our most fun Halloweens and hopefully we will do it again. Thanks for everyone who came!
Tyler had no clue I was taking this. He just looks so nerdy!

hooray!

For anyone who didnt know Tyler is getting into insurance and there are a few tests he had to pass. These tests are pretty hard and alot of people dont pass them on their first try.. Well after many many hours of studying and test taking Tyler is now finished and is officially selling insurance. We went out to dinner for a little celebration and he sure was relieved! He has been working really hard ever since. Good job little panawan!
Does anyone out there need insurance?? :)

This is a little group of USU official alumni. I think the word is alumni but if not then I probably should not have graduated college. Well a couple weekends ago we met up with some of Tyler and I's friends from Utah STate. I told Tyler he needed to blog about it but I guess hes not too into blogging... Anyway these guys are the first group of guys I met at Utah State and I was good friends with them ever since. Justin and Mark are who introduced me to Tyler so I should be thanking them! I decided not to be in the pic cause these boys are so cute without me in it. Its crazy that its been over four years since I met all of them!

Halloween spirit

Tyler and I both love Halloween so much. We have our house decorated with Halloween stuff and all through October we watch scary movies and get in the Halloween spirit. This weekend we went on a group date with my step sister Nikki and her husband Tony, and my sister Ashley and Sean. We went to Nightmare on Thirteenth and then we came home and watched The RING. It was scary but so much fun! I am the biggest scaredy cat but I love to see boys get scared especially Tyler cause it seems like he barely ever is. We have had so much fun getting to know Nikki and Tony and were so glad to have them live so close!
