a NEW camera!! yahoo!

I got a new camera!!! I am so excited that I have been going a little camera crazy. Tyler gave it to me on Sunday because we kind of celebrated my birthday on Sunday because Tuesday Tyler had to work. These are some of the first pictures I took...

The camera is so cool because you can pick a color that it will highlight only. I tried to do it with his shirt but it was too light I think. Its pretty cool though- although I may be getting in on this technology a little late, I love it!
Sunday after church we went to the beach and played around, then we had a bbq with some of our friends out here. We love bbq's! Tyler made us steaks and it was soo good!
It was a fun day! Sundays are my favorite out here because it means we get to RELAX!

the FOURTH and the weekend...

For the fourth of July weekend our friends Morgan and Britton came out to visit from Logan. We love them! It was so much fun and we were sad to see them leave.

On the fourth we went to the beach alll day long. Newport Beach was packed and crazy with people, but we managed to find a parking spot miles away and Tyler long boarded back forth to it for us. He sure does come in handy! We had a big group with us and it was perfect weather for some beach volleyball and playing in the waves.

Tyler and Britton also rented boogie boards and were surfing on them all day. Some reason it cut tylers chest up pretty bad and he still has little scars! I was glad not to be a part of it since my last boogie boarding experience (on our honeymoon) I almost died! If our kids get any sports/coordination talents at all it will definitely be from him.

That evening we went to the fireworks show in Downtown Disneyland. The fireworks were good but they shut them off early because of the wind. It was still fun to be able to walk around downtown disneyland though and then we went to eat at my favorite restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory. I had alot and fun and we were completely worn out by the end of the night. I love the fourth!

Snoop Doggy Dogg

Last Saturday night we got tickets for the one and only snoop dogg(/311 concert.) Random! I never thought I would really enjoy a snoop concert, but it actually ended up being really fun! Of course we were probably the only handful of people in the whole place that were actually in a normal state of mind, but I think we enjoyed it just as much as anyone! :)

I was pretty surprised at how many songs I actually knew, which was probably from my when my brother went through his gangster rapper stage. You'd never guess so many gangsters could come from Rexburg Idaho but looks like they can!
After the concert we had to make a stop at Yogurtland. Which is just like pink berry but you put as many toppings as you LIKE! Which in my terms means smother the thing. It was a good weekend and nice to have some free time from work!

Ashley's visit out here!

A couple weeks ago my little sister Ashley came out to visit for a few days...
Or so I thought! Those who know her would know that only SHE would be able to mix up the day she flies out by 2 DAYS! She was going on a trip to Tonga with her nursing program and planned it so she could come hang out with me on the way before she left. She told me all along she was leaving Saturday, luckily she called her friend THURSDAY (yes she got here Wednesday) to ask about something else and her friend told her they were coming that night! She's funny. But I will admit the two days I did get to spend with her were well worth it!

This picture is of us riding the beach cruisers around. It was such a nice day and we had alot of fun with everyone. These pictures are kinda blurry but better than nothin right!

Two sets of sisters! Bet ya can't tell which one is mine.... The other two are Amanda and Jessica, who work in the office out here with me. We have alot of fun but its a pretty uneven match when I play volleyball or basketball with them I have to admit.

The day she got here we went to Hollywood and some of the sites there. I had never been there before and was pretty excited to say the least. When I saw the red carpets and photographers out in front of the chinese theater, me and Ash wouldve waited there all night to see what was going on. Then this lady came up to us and asked if we had some dressier clothes to put on so we could go to the premier of Adam Sandlers new movie the "Zohan." Luckily for us Ashley had her whole suitcase in my car so we could change. I guess they needed seat fillers in our age group so they asked us if we wanted to! She said "do you want to walk the red carpet with the stars?" is actually exactly what she said. The night didnt quite turn out like that but it was fun. The story is probably better if I leave the rest for your imaginations.

This little spidey in Hollywood was very wierd and smelly but sure did get into character good. I thought this picture was pretty funny. I love when people take their jobs so seriously!
Overall it was so fun to get some time to hang out with her. I miss my sisters!

Summer time!

The past couple weeks out here have flown by so fast. We have definitely been working hard and playing hard! Its tough to work hard though when you are about 7 minutes from the beach and you have a nice big pool outside your back door, but what can ya do? Tyler has been working so hard out here I have been so proud of him. This year has been a little tough for our office for some reason, but we are slowly starting to pick it up!
It has been so fun being able to hang out with all of Tylers family and his cousins and their little families! It was Tyler's moms big 50th birthday last weekend and her sister threw her a really fun party! Since I am having camera issues, I got these pictures from someone else but they were taken at her party. Me and Tyler made this candy bar poster, I think it turned out really cute!

After dinner and the best desserts EVER at the party, there was a little dance session. We were doing all kinds of dances- no matter what age you are in this family you are never too old or young to do the Solja Boy or get in a little Thriller action.

Also on Memorial day we had a family get together with everyone here at our apts in Irvine. We had a big bbq and then some of the guys played basketball and we went out to the pool.

This picture on the right is me with some of Tylers cousins and his sister, Hannah on my left and his mom on the right. They are so much fun! It was really nice to have a break from working and take the day off.

CalifornIA

We have made it to California and we are loving the area we are in. It is so close to the beach and our apartments are really nice. I forgot to bring my camera cord with mE so we wont be able to put up our own new pictures from the summer but i will try to get some from friends. Since we have been here we have done some fun things. One morning a friend in the office invited us to ride beach bikes along the huntington beach coast. It was something I have never done and it was really fun to see all the shops and beach houses right off the shore. It was a really nice day and we stopped and had lunch on the way back.

We also went to the baseball game at the Anaheim Angels stadium. Our manager invited everyone in our office and we ended up with quite a crazy group! The game was pretty good but I really just went to get a chili dog. Who knew that stadium doesnt even offer those!? I was pretty upset but ended up content with a hot dog and a PINKBERRY which is our new favorite place to go out here. For those who havent tried it you are missing out on a little piece of heaven.
We are so excited to be out here and have some more good times! Tylers family is coming up this next week so we are looking forward to that. I will keep trying to put up some more blogs so we can keep everyone updated!
